2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Is she having a Silent Heat or False Heat? My female has been somewhat swollen for almost ten days now, but she has no blood show not even pink or slightly pink. I see no difference in her except being swollen. The only thing that I have noticed is a little moisture. Why isn't she gong into the standing stage of her heat? She is right on schedule. The only thing that has changed is that we have gotten our male Yorkie neutered. I have read that a male can sometimes force or how ever you want to say it a female to go into a full on heat because of the hormones. I may be wrong but I am wondering if having him fixed has anything to do with why she has not gone into the estrus stage of her heat cycle. I have never had a femle who has had a false or silent heat before. Im not sure what to expect. I can only go by what I have researched in the past few days. Am I correct that she may still be able to get pregnant durring a silent heat but not a false heat? There are two possibilities a false heat or a silent heat. How do you tell the defference? Does anyone have any idea what could be going on with her?

YT Addict | I wish I could help...........I'm glad you posted this question. I was wondering when I could expect mine to go into her first heat. She is 6 months and I don't even know what signs to look for. I will be looking for some responses to your post to help me out with my question also!!!!
