| When is a yorkie full grown? I just got my Kiki 6 weeks ago. She is now 14 weeks old. I was just wondering when yorkies stop growing... I know the breeder said to weigh her at 3 months old and then double that and Ill have around what she might weigh... She waighed 2 pounds 4 oz at 12 weeks old.

| It all depends on the dog, but I would say at two they all will be completely grown. My two quit growing (both ways) by the time they were a year.

| Zhoie was 2 yrs Jan. 25th, she is 4.11 and she only gained a few ounces the past few months. I believe she has stopped, now it's up to me to not make her chunky. This is something I will really have to watch..she is such a lazy girlie.

| A yorkie reaches adulthood by 2, however, when then stop growing is very dependent on their background....some will grow very quickly up front and stop about 7 or 8 months of age; other's will have another growth spurt at a year. Growth and weight are two different things.

| My little guy is about 7 pounds and is a year. He hasn't grown much in the last few months. His face and coat are changing but I don't notice anything else. |

| I really wanna hear they stop growing at 6 months ZoE will be 20 weeks old on Thursday and she's already 5 1/2 lbs! I said I wanted a standard size yorkie, but now I'm worried she's gonna be way over. She's not chubby either...pretty slim build actually.
