I try putting the juice from her wet food on it and wont even touch that..only eats the wet food, and I can't just give her that twice a day!!!!!!! She'll go all day and not eat And this scratching is driving me nuts!! Im thinking the pill didn't work well yesterday because she took it in "segments" .......lol Going to put the frontline on today and respray around the house..if not better, im taking her to the vet to have her skin checked....cause I know its obthering her to no end, because its bothering me! I need to get her accustomed to the rest of the house too..she wont hardly leave me bedroom!!!!!!!!

| Have you ever think of letting her breath on her own for a while , she needs time to adjust . |

You want to go too fast with the adjustment . I will never ask you to let her starve to death . I have had 2 adults Yorkies as rescued dogs and I too wanted to go too fast with them . They totally refused to eat , the day I decided to take back and relax with the adjustment things , Jade and Mitsou were better . How long do you have her ?

And its not like Im pushing her to eat..I leave the food out, bring her to in (because she doesn't leave my room much) and show her its there.. if its wet food, she'll eat it no problem. Dry, she turns her nose up. We've had her a week. She is so lovey and wants to always be in my lap..and is starting to jump in hubbys lap when he sits in the bedroom as well...

I know she is lovely . I suggest you to let her on the wet food for the time she will adjust . IMO.... for now eating wet food is better than don't eat at all. You will have enough time later to start with the dry food . If she start to go see your husband , it is a good sign . As I said , she will need time to adjust and come around .

| try giving her wet food. If she wont eat dry she might eat wet. Eating is very important...try giving her Ceasers food. Dollar wasnt the biggest eater either but man he loves that stuff and eat like no other!

| Sometimes , It takes time for a little one of this age to adjust . If she is eating wet food , I would let her on that for a while . Daisy is lovely . |

| I wouldnt worry too much bc Chloe wouldnt eat anything except for wet food either. As long as the puppy is eating thats all that matters. I would leave her dry food out all day and she wouldnt eat it but as soon as I put her wet food down she would so as long as it is eating thats fine

| Mix the hard and the wet food together. As far as the fleas if you cant get it under control before long take her to the vet. My dog got one flea on him and scratched a raw spot on him that I have to medicate him for.

| The breeder of Muffin gave me a ziplock baggy of ground up Eukanuba puppy food and a can of wet food. She told me to get couple of teaspoons of dry food with a little water and a pinch of wet food for taste, until it is an oatmeal consistency. And leave out the dry food all the time. First two days he wouldnt eat but a little of the mix and maybe one or two pebbles. But now he eats all his mixture which i give him twice a day and eats quite a bit of dry food. He has even left over half of mixture and only eats dry food. Maybe try the mixture? Worked for me! I was told if he refuses to eat do anything to get him to, even force feed him. Could yours be eating a little but not enough for you to notice? I only put ten pebbles in bowl so I could monitor if he ate any. Remember tummies are little and dont eat alot. Good luck hun! |

| Don't forget that some of her teeth may be hurting her, so eating hard food could hurt.

| well I made her come out of my room before while I cleaned the kitchen...and I put fresh dry food out, and sprinkled some parmesan cheese on it. She did eat a little bit! So I'll stick to that during the day for now, and give her half of the wet packet am and pm. As for her itching..I called the vet, and the woman said..you can come this weekend. Im like, no, i cannot. Then she says how booked they are, etc....so I finally got her to squeeze us in tomorrow morning. All she did was give me a whole list of things they'll do and what they'll cost me (oh boy..cant wait!) Anyway..question. I havent put her frontline on yet. Even if she doesn't have the flea problem now and its osmething else..do I still put it on her regardless, so she DOESN"T catch them anymore? Then if after putting the frontline on and she stops scratching by tomorrow, I can wait and see? Thanks girls..sorry to sound so clueles..but..I am!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali also wouldn't eat hard and she now eats caesars 3 times a day and loves it. I know it's not the best food but she wouldn't eat anything else and had 2 hypoglycemic episoded until caesar. |

| I would put the frontline on it will keep her form getting any more fleas. My vet said you should put flea meds on them every month even in the winter. That doesnt make sense to me since fleas are dead after the 1st frost but thats what he said. If she stops itching then wouldnt worry about going to the vet unless there are other reasons you need to go.
