| Sore, Swollen & Bruised but doing ok Jed did fine after surgery. He was awake but totally out of it. He looked sooooo pitiful! On the ride home he would look at me and DH and cry then lay back down and snooze. We got home and he & I sat in the recliner and he just slept. Got up a little later and started playing, slowly and ate a little food. He had the want to to play just not the energy. Went to bed and he would wiggle around, cry, strech, and finally go to sleep. He did that all night. Got up several times to potty then the routine would start again. Ate a fairly big breakfast this morning. Is walking around kinda stiff legged and keeps licking down there. They told me not to worry about the licking. Also said to limit his activity for 24 hours. After that, back to normal. I did buy a onesie yesterday just in case. But it will have to be cut down, resewn before he can wear it. The smallest size they had was newborn. We go back next Saturday for stich removal. All in all, things are going fine and "I" survived. |

| I'm glad all went well with his surgery. Don't let Jed lick himself. His skin will start to get red and irritated, making him even more uncomfortable. Don't let him move around to much either. Easier said than done since we know these little ones just have a mind of their own.

| I'm glad he did well. I'm sure he'll be feeling like his old self in a couple of days. These little one's bounce back so quickly! The ride home sounds so cute. I can just imagine him looking at you like "why did you let them do that to me?"

| Glad to hear Jed is doing well and is on the mends. I am surpised that they told you not to worry about him licking. I have always heard it's not a good thing for them to do so.

| So relieved to hear Jed is doing ok. Definitely don't let him lick as it can cause infection, i used a collar from Bo's to prevent it. He will be better soon, just give him lots of mommy cuddles hugs to Jed -- Roo & Presto |
