| A few things...(including pics!) Well, i "think" I got all of the pill in her. Gosh is she stubborn! I hold her upside down and get it as far back as I can..then rub her throat. I think she had it, then she walks into another room and spits it out!! Bugger!! But each time it was smaller, so some obviouslly disolved in her mouth!! The last time in i followed her and didn't see it again, so I hope I got it all in her! I'll know in a few hours I guess if she quits digging herself up!!!!!! She is just chewing away at herself I bought her some Royal Canin today..im giong to pray she eats that. This is our 3rd brand of dry food we're trying And I bough her some new bows today..boy those elastics are so tiny! How does anyone with big fingers get it around more than once?!! Anyway..here are 2 pics. For some reason, she squints her eyes for pics..lol She isn't to happy with me at the moment either..lol

| Can't do the rubber bands myself...shelby wont hold still that long. I have found those small butterfly clips work well and are easier to put on a wiggly animal. Daisy's face looks fuller already! Must be the clean hair stands up well huh? Another thing that might help is trimming the top third of her ears. I am NOT an expert at this and not sure how ready you are for the task. Look at Lexis_Mommy and Red98vett posts. They groom their own dogs and they are beautiful. Last edited by shelbysmom; 11-15-2005 at 11:21 AM. |

| Amy, that was so funny! All yorkies are stubborn. No doubt about it. Next time you need to give a pill, just be certain she swallows first by watching her throat or holding your fingers there so you can feel her swallow. Giving a pill that way is very easy once you get used to it. I always just sat mine down on a table or something at my level, put the pill in from the side to the very back of the tongue, held her head straight up with her mouth shut until I saw her swallow and that's all there is to it! P.S. She looks so pretty in her pictures.
