| Rocky Hill Kennel Frenchtown NJ Did you get your yorky there? Hi I have my new yorky Rudy and got him from this breeder who has been breeding for over 25 yrs I was just wondering if anyone has bought a yorky from Diane Laudenbach b/c I would like to talk with you. This breeder only let me see the 2 male pups and the mom and they were up in her kitchen area, however after I bought my pup and came home I realized she did no training whatsoever and I took my pup to the vet to find out he had ear mites- which the vet said are from unsanitary living conditions gross! I emailed the breeder back but she did not reply- I would like to know if anyone knows her or if you possibly have my pups family members I would like to get to know u. Thanks |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I've never heard of her so i googled her and found out she also breeds schnauzers and toy poodles. she doesn't seem to have a website but lists herself on many sites for the breeds she sells. if your puppy has ear mites then the other dogs in her house probably have ear mites too. no dog that is well taken care of should have ear mites, especially puppies. Be sure to have your puppies stool checked a few times as well because i'm sure he has intestinal parasites too

| Hey I was considering purchasing a puppy from her. Would you reccommend her? this is my families first time purchasing a puppy. We are strongly against supporting puppy mills, which is why we've decided to buy from a breeder. I plan on visiting her home next week to see the puppies so Reply pls |

| Do not buy puppies from Rocky Hill Kennel Hi, I have recently adopted 2 yorkies from my neighbor who can not keep them anymore due to allergies. They were bought there. They were taken away from their mother early and kept in crates. They were encouraged to eliminate in their crates. I have started to train them to go potty outside but they have developed a bad habit of eliminating in their crates. This place is a puppy mill and no reputable breeder would encourage this training. Do not get a puppy from there. By the way, does anyone have any ideas/tips about breaking these habits? I am taking them out regularly and have them on a feeding schedule, etc. However, they think they should eliminate in their crates and are still in that habit. They are so sweet and affectionate, I just love them! |

| I don't check this site very often, so I just read this today. I got my puppy, Tinkerbell, from Diane at Rocky Hill Kennel. She was from the litter that was born this past Christmas. I was a little leery of where/how the puppies were being kept at the kennel and what the conditions were. Diane did the same thing to us. She brought a cage into the kitchen that had the mother and the puppies from that litter in it. The mother looked healthy and well kept. We chose our puppy because she was the largest and sturdiest female in the litter. We picked her up when she was 11 weeks old back in March. We took her to the vet a couple days after picking her up and she received a clean bill of health. Her ears were/are stinky, too, but the vet said she had no mites, just dirty ears. She was clear of worms as well. She is now 24 weeks old, weighs just under 5 pounds and is a total JOY!!! We pee pad potty trained her fully within the first month. She has learned tricks, is very active and is an over all pretty clever and healthy little puppy! So, I'm not sure how Ms. Laudenbach goes about running her kennel. I just know that we luckily gained a wonderful new member of our family and I'm very glad we have her!! |

| If the Breeder will not allow you to view where the puppies and the Mother are living then that is a big red flag. Sounds like a puppy mill to me. There are wonderful Yorkies for adoption in shelters all over the US. YTNR also has Yorkies for adoption. Check into the shelters and rescues you may just find the love of your life.

Leslie, when was your puppy born? And you definitely got it from Diane at Rocky Hill?? My puppy is now 9 months old and is checked by our vet regularly. I guess we are fortunate, because she is pretty darn healthy (knocking on wood!!) Please reply when you can. I will be mentioning this condition to my vet at my dog's next visit. Thank you! | |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I just sold a silky pup to a lady that had gone to her for a yorkie puppy and change her mind when she was there, same complaint, the lady brought the pup in a cage with her mom and met her in her kitchen, no pictures of the dad or the litter, she told me she had a bad feeling and it was very hard to walk away without the puppy but she knew enogh not to buy it, then she found my site and my videos, and she came to meet my pups when they were 10 weeks and two weeks later she took 2 home with her. good luck with your baby hopefully he is super healthy and again congrats on your baby.. |
