| when the dog trains the owners My husband and I decided to take Gizmo to the city to a really cute doggy boutique. I ended up buying him a pair of pajamas, an elk antler, and a new comfort harness so I can work with walking on a leash. We get home and I took Gizmo outside with a few cookies and when he would walk correctly I would get really geeked and jump and cheer. Anyway to make a long story short I think Gizmo enjoys watching his mom make a fool out of herself. So who is training who?

| Yup they do have us trained. here I was so proud of myself for training Brandi to potty outside. Boy did she had me fool, she started fake pottying just to get a treat. She would literally squat for a few seconds and the come running to me to get her treat. What's even funnier was it took me awhile to even figure out what she was doing. |

| I would bet everyone of us on this forum are very well trained by you-know-who.

| Cute story! I can still remember when I was house training Kacee that I would do the same thing. Jumping up and down and making a fool of myself! You know what? It works!

One morning I was way too tired to do the "potty dance" when she went on her pad. It's the only time she paused for a few seconds before eating her treat..looking at me like...well...where's the potty dance??? They definately know how to train us!

| LOL! I know what you mean. If you don't make a big deal they look at you like "..Well come on. Where is it....?" As someone else said on here, Louie learned the whole "Fake pottying" deal too. Too funny!

How funny...mine do that too. If they go out the doggie door into the doggie "outhouse" and potty when they come back in they get a treat...afterwards they run back out really fast and then run right back in, prancing at me for their "reward" ---

| i still reward princess for using the pad with a treat but this little weirdo will NOT take a treat outside! so i'd have to praise her like a maniac all the way in and up 3 flights of stairs so she wouldn't forget she did a good job. i got lot's of wayward glances both in the yard & in on the stairs on the way up. and if she does it in the house (pad) she will come "tell" me & make me stop what i'm doing to come see & then she'll walk to her treats.

| All these stories are cracking me up. Now if I only had you all for neighbors we would be the normal ones.

YT 1000 Club Member | I just want to warn you guys... Many Yorkie Females are Witches, and can perform magic ! My little Becca will jump up on the Recliner and climb up over my chest onto my shoulder, and put her face right against mine. Then, start wagging her tail. I can cut my eyes over, and see her looking at me, out of the corner of her eye. It compels me to give her a Cheese Treat... I'm convinced it's a spell !
