| Differences in dogs I know this may sound strange......but as most of you know I have two yorkies. Bella and Jett. Bella is just over a year and is a VERY smart little girl. Very ambitiouis, curious, rambunctious.....you name it. Jett is very cute, adorable, loveable.....but....I know this sounds awful, but just doesn't seem as 'smart' as Bella. He seems a bit 'slower' and less quick to learn things. Does anyone else have one dog that is much more advanced......(LOLLOL) than the other??? (Bella at Jett's age knew a dozen tricks....and was just plain witty.....Jett knows sit, down.....and come. Thats it! I have tried teaching him others, but....does not pick them up quickly at all!!) I love Jett dearly, and wouldn't trade him for the world. Maybe yorkies are like people.......some get the brains and others get the looks???

| I was just talking about this earlier... Polo's Brother is at my in-law's house... the differences in physical and emotional demeanor are night and day... one loves to be at the center stage, the other just sits there ...

| I have 4 and all are as different as night and day (personality-wise). One of ours I swear if she was a boy her name would be "Odie" - dumb as a rock!!! BUT ---> she is the absolutely most docile, nicest, sweetest little girl you could meet, everyone loves "Carly" The others are very smart with one being extremely smart, learned several ASL finger spelling words in a day (amazed even me). Very interesting in their differences that's for sure.

| Armani is much better trained then Chloe. When she was very young she was sick and I honestly was way more concerned about her health then training her. Now, no matter how hard I try the ONLY thing she knows is sit- LOL! But she is so sweet- so ehhh- we practice that sit ALL the time and it has gotten very good So I don't know if it was the lack of training as a pup or simply that she isn't as quick as Armani. They are full brother and sister, so it is not genetics.

| I wonder if part of it could be the one on one time that you spent with the first yorkie.

I kind of doubt that is it. I have spent many more hours with Jett in training than I ever did with Bella. Of course she picks up her tricks within an hour or two. Jett takes many many days to get them IF he gets them. I think she is just a bit smarter and more clever than he is.......but I love them both just the same.
