Not with my yorkies, but with my Shih Tzu. Did they look like a grain of rice? If so possibly tape worms. The last time precious had them all I had to do was get some pills from the vet and it cleared them right up.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I would have to say it happens alot to people...you can do a search on this site and just type 'worms' and find lots of information - also...look on the net to find out what kind - and most important.....visit/call your vet asap to get treatment for this problem - some worms are treatable with over-the-counter medication - but you have to know what you're treating first - It gives me the willies but it's pretty common unfortunately......GOOD LUCK !!! You may want to check for fleas too - sometimes when a little one has worms - they also may have fleas or ear mites too - it sounds like your puppy needs a good physical at the vets office...I hope everything turns out ok |

| Oh don't be too harsh on yourself! It happens to the best of us. It's usually very easy to clear them up and make your baby 100% worm free. TRUST ME.. the thought of them makes my skin crawl.. But my Zeus had all sorts of worms when I rescued him and ewwwww.. But I took him to the vet and they were all cleared up within weeks maybe even days! No worries! Take care!

| Very simple fix. Call your vet. make an appoinment and get your baby checked. Take a stool sample for the vet to look at under the microscope. They will give your kid medication- you may need to go back a second time just to make sure they got all the worms. This is a very common thing and can be treated very easy. Just do not ignore the situation. If you have any other dogs good to have them checked also. |
