YT 1000 Club Member | Y14, It's something I do to both mine each year ! It's SO hot and humid down here where I live, that I just feel compelled to give my guys a break on it. I have the Groomer do a #7 (that's pretty short) cut from their necks through their butts (neck/body/legs). And, leave the hair on their Heads and Tails "longer". They kinda look like Lions ! I don't have a lot of pictures, but, you can check... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/alb...?albumid=11968 this, and see how long the hair is on My Male Sneakers head. Maybe something like this would be right for yours.

| Here are a couple pictures of Maddie from a few years ago. I keep her short on the body and leave the legs, tail and head and face longer. Also, here is a link that Walnut Hill has on her site with pictures of different cuts: Yorkshire Terrier Hair Styles | Hair Styles for Yorkies | Yorkshire terrier hair cuts, grooming styles Good luck with Pyper's haircut!

| This is the new cut I gave Lilly. The first 2 were before I trimmed her face. The last 2 are after. My groomer friend called it a chinese crested cut. |

| I need to get charlies hair cut down too.... It's been hot here, and I hate to see him panting.. It always worries me that he'll get dehydrated.. These are all great ideas and get me more motivated to get his cut down. |

| Here's Brandi. Her body is cut low but not too low. This pic is of her the day after her hair cut last week. She loves it because she can see now |

I need to do this to Zhoie as she is a cotton coat. Didn't know if I could keep her in it in the winter months or not.
