| Cookie feeling better, daddy made him his steps . Pics of Today! I took these pictures today. Cookie is feeling completely normal again. Even though he has stitches that needs to come out next week.My hubby made him steps out of styrofoam and I used my 40% off coupon from Joann Fabrics woohoo! I've been desperate to use it! lol . I put velcro on the bottom so I can remove it easily to wash.He spends most of the day at the dining room window "guarding the house" Genie |

| Thank you! The styrofoam comes in one big piece it measures 2inches thick by 4ft wide by 8 ft long. Hubby cut two pieces the of the same so each step would be 4 inches high. The biggest piece is 16" wide by 36" long . You cut them like this: 2 pieces 16" X 36" 2 pieces 16"X30" 2 pieces 16"X24" 2 pieces 16"X18' 2 pieces 16"X12" 2 pieces 16"X6" You glue from the biggest to smallest. My hubby used regular "liquid nails" To add extra comfort I cut out 1" cushion and glued it on top of each step so when he steps on it its really soft. My bed is pretty tall and these steps are 27" high. So you might need one less step,so measure your beds first. It was totally worth it because right now I can't buy steps already made for $139+ Genie |
