| is it rude? I haven't been on YT long and have only been a dog owner for a year but I just wondered is it rude for me to comment on someones post with my opinion or information? I just don't want to be looked at as the "newbie" who should be keeping her mouth shut until I've been around for a while. I read a lot here, in books, various sites, calling several vets as I want to be just as educated as the rest of you on this beautiful breed. What do you think?

| I agree with the above but some facts are disputable hence and open forum... This is an open forum, however it is for educating people also. So (I have learned this) stating something is IMO-in my opinion matters a bit so ppl don't jump in saying, " ugh no this person is dead wrong" which happens even when stating any research you have everything is subjective...I'm sure you noticed (as I have) there are some people on here who spread nonsense as truth and it isn't received well, nothing personal to those people but it's about people who know wanting to make sure correct information is handed out... I will say this I was on here a year before I posted, just reading and learning and had read about Yorkies specifically for about 2 years prior and had personal experience with them from the novice stand point...I'm still a newbie but it helps if you are taking about something specific to site where you go the information and be open to obtaining more information on it that someone else may know to be true or false... There are also some people on here who know what they are talking about so much that their every post could be published in to a print as absolute fact... The short answer-no,it's not rude, this is an open forum, but the nature of an open forum is whatever you post on will most likely be responded to...

| No its not rude you should share info and opinions. If opinons were only shared after people became long term members this forum would get very stagnant. We need newer people with new ideas and opinions for the forum to grow and thrive

The more people the merrier just so long as you are posting for good and not evil.

Comment away! Sometimes we just do the same thing we've always done....well... because we've always done it. It's great to get a fresh perspective on things, hear other people's ideas & the latest info. out there on our favorite breed.

| Free forum and all can state their point of view. It gives insight.

| of course it is not rude!! You are a member and your opinion is important and wanted! I think the only time someone is rude is when they talk down or are abrasive .. otherwise all is good or maybe don't agree with me (just kidding)
