| how big will she get? Sophie's updates too :) How do you know what your Yorkie will weigh as an adult? I know the weight of her parents but I've had other small dogs that have both been smaller or larger than their parents. Sophie is doing great she has a healthy appetite and lots of energy, potty training is work but her mistakes are just a few and its always when we aren't paying enough attention to her, she is still timid but has had play dates, weekly puppy classes and runs about in small dog parks with no more than 3 dogs at a time, she now weighs 4.2 pounds and she is 15 weeks. when do they stop growing and how do you know is it different with each dog? We love her so... most of my day is spent with her. We are working on obedience stuff, sit, drop it, take it and leave it, as well as working on walking beside me... we practice a little throughout the day. She has had two baths mostly cause she ran through another dogs pee while she was playing with her best friend who is a yorkie boy about a month older than her and about 7lbs. Sometimes she is the leader and other times he is? I thought pecking order wouldn't go back and fourth like that? Sorry to share so much... but I'm driving my family nutz with Sophie's updates |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Best guess-estimate is to double her 12 week weight. When they stop growing all depends on the dog. I've seen dogs stop gaining at 6 months....and some that continued gaining after their first birthdays.
