| help please i guys i am new on this, we have a 11 mounth old mail yorkie not fix and we just got a 3 mounth old yorkie/something white and flufy.anyways he dont stop humping the little one is there anything we can do to cam hem down. we dont want to fix im yet. pleace advice. |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Well good luck with that....! It's just something they do. You need to correct the behavior just like you would any other unwanted bad habits. Also dont be surprised if he even trys to hump your arm/leg etc. I have dealt with this problem as well and I used Belly Bands. They do not stiop the behavior but stops penitration. not sure where to purchase them, I made my own. Here are some links that I fond... | Your older dog is showing dominance over your younger dog by humping him. In dog language, this is considered rather offensive behavior. While I'm not a proponent of intervening TOO much while they are establishing their relationship; I probably would try and keep the humping to a minimum. You can separate them immediately when it happens - for a few minutes. Your older dog should get the idea pretty quickly.
