| How old are your kids? Does she bark all the time no matter what the kids are doing or just when they are running around? Does she have a specific safe place to go where the kids aren't allowed to bother her, such as a crate, bed, chair, etc?

| I have the same problem with Lizzy. Actually she does it to my friends and family. What has worked for me is to have my friends sternly tell her "no" themselves. It works. I don't know how it will work with children. I had my nieces and their children staying this past weekend, and Lizzy was fine with my nieces and as long as the kids, a 5 and 3 yr old, didn't approach her, she was fine, but when they did come near, she went for them and nipped them several times. I didn't get that problem fixed, the kids just couldn't remember to give her space. She only quit trying to attack them after I squirted her several times with the water bottle. I did have to shake it a few times to remind her not to go after them.

| my kids are 7,8, and 12 she doesn't mind my kids it's there friends as soon as they walk in the house she chases them and barks when they bend down to pet her she nips them. I will try the water bottle thing I haven't done that yet. And I have tried to put her in her crate but she cries and has a very high pitched bark that she does. |
