| Yorkie Lonliness for Charlie Ok so my son has a pet Im not sure what kind he looks like a really fat wiener dog (but hes not) anyway, he came to visit today and Charlie get so excited when he comes he jumps on him and plays it drives my sons dog nuts but Charlie just has a ball, now they left abot 630 pn and Charlie has been looking for him ever since. has been walking from room to room looking for him. Now from recent visits I know that this will pass but should I consider another yorkie?? abd uf U dud would I consider a boy or girl Charlie if fixed so that is not an issue but which would he get along with better if I chose to go down this road,,,,,,, Also what would be the reprocussions of jealousy in the beginning I would never want Charlie to think I was replacing him and that I didnt love him. I know Im rambling I just want Charlie to be happy. ok thanks for listening

| If he doesn't get jealous of other little dogs that come over, then I'd say go for it. Do you have any friends that have little dogs? You could have them bring theirs over. You can see how he reacts when you pay attention and dote on their little dog. I don't think the sex matters greatly. Usually, a male and female get along well.

The only thing I have ever noticed as "jealousy" is when my sons dog comes I will give him treat that originally bought for Charlie BUT Charlie didnt like them and I didnt want to throw them away..... When shorty comes if I give him those treats then Charlie HAS to have them too and sometimes he dont even eat them he will just have to have one because shorty has one. He will take it and run off and put it on the floor and eventually shorty eats it.
