| Food I have a question about food. I have over the years tried different brands and have settled on a holistic brand, Blue Buffalo. I didn't like all the corn and fillers in foods and my first little girl was allergic. I give my girls carrots, celery, cucumbers, peas, lettuce, apples etc finely minced or chopped, they love it! (occasionally) I might add not every day. I was just wondering if anyone has a better brand of dog food other than cooking myself, I work fulltime and also have 5 parrots and 2 cats,to try. I want to make sure they are getting the very best.

| Many members seem to be very happy with Blue Buffalo. I haven't tried it for my guys though. My favorite brands of food for my babies are: Acana Orijen Fromm Nature's Variety Petcurean (Go! or Now!) Acana, Orijen and Petcurean are made by Canadian companies. Bonny

| Home cooking is "the" best and you won't have any picky eaters either.

It is the "best" way for you, but not all feel that way. I feel feeding my dogs a high quality dry and canned food works best for us and currently we are using Nature's Variety and my dogs are doing very well on this food. If you want to home cook for your dogs then I suggest you do all the research that you can so you know that your dogs are getting everything they need to thrive. If you choose to go the kibble route than I suggest that you research a few different companies and request samples to see which one your pup likes the best. Good Luck!

| Tucker likes Wellness, the grain free formula and Nature's variety. He too has food allergies and he has done very well on them.

| BB is really good, Evo is too but I heard many don't like it I like Taste if the Wild I feed the Foul wetlands I think it's called its cheaper and I feel better quality than the others. Many people seem to love Orijen it's not available in my area...so I'm good with Taste of the Wild-6 STARS. Dog Food Reviews - Main Index - Powered by ReviewPost I really beg to differ home cooking is best RAW, prey model, BARF is the best it's just really icky to most of us LOL! I do Stella and Chewy's for RAW, and hand feed fruits and vegis

| I started my 5 mo old pup on Blue Buffalo 3 wks ago. She likes it. She had loose stools, gave her canned pumpkin and all ok right now. She is on the puppy lamb and oatmeal. She was coughing all the time on Royal Cannin, no cough now! |

| We tried Wellness treats and Darwin threw it up in a few minutes. Darn, I really thought he'd love the treats cause it got such great feedback. We're loyal to Orijen.
