| Snuggles Project Has anyone had anything to do with this project? They collect blankets, knit, crochet, sewn of a sm, med or lg size for various animal shelters. I looked in our YT lists to see if they were listed and they are not, sounds good like the chemo caps for kids thing, only blankies for animals in shelters for comfort, which they do need. The shelter at Camp Pendleton is on their list and the shelter is a "no kill" which is important and is close to me too. I can't seem to find a Yorkie or other small dog rescue here near me, probably do to my poor computer skill . The Yorkie Haven Rescue seems to be only east coast and not in my area which is (wayyyyyy SO Cal) we're still in the USA but only JUST, ocean wise or country wise. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

| I've not had anything to do with that particular project, but our local humane society happily accepts donations of old towels & blankets.

| I have heard of the project through my online crochet reading. On my list of things to do once I can crochet again. (Recent surgery to correct the nerve problem that was keeping me from one of my fav hobbies!). I think it is a worthwhile project, especially because it puts you in direct contact with a local shelter. You might see other needs while you are there or even find a new friend! Let us know how your experience works out.
