| Might be Adopting From Our Local Shelter! OMG you guys I'm sooooo excited! I think I finally found my husband's soft side . . .I'm like in shock . . . There is an 8 year old neutered male yorkie in my town's shelter who was dropped off after the owner said they could no longer care for him . . . Poor little guy! 8 years old! He's been there all week long and each day I'd tell my husband, "Spencer" (his current name) is still there and nobody is going to adopt an 8 year old dog . . .then I went into the spiel wouldn't it be nice to give this older guy a life he deserves? Wouldn't it just warm your heart to give him a home that is warm and loving? So today, he finally agreed (even went on and looked at his pic) that I could find out more about him. So, of course, the shelter was already closed, so I emailed them (it's one of their personal home emails) and I'm waiting to hear back. Of course, first I'd have to meet Spencer to see if he is friendly and not aggressive in anyway and that he likes men and women . . .and if all that went well, I'd then bring my babies to meet him . . .I know Brody won't have any issues because he LOVES all dogs, it's Rhianna who is my little alpha princess . . . Soooo, I've never done this before and would appreciate any and all advice. I haven't gotten my hopes too high yet, because if I'm too late in emailing them and someone else is able to provide for him, at least I know he'll have a warm bed at night and a person to kiss, hug and love him . . .

| Thanks all! Still keep those fingers crossed for me! I received an email back from the shelter and Spencer has a lot of interest, but they are still looking for the right home for him . . .So as we speak, I'm filling out the application and emailing it directly to the woman at her home email . . .hopefully I'll hear from her tomorrow!

| I think that might make her more excited instead of wanting to sleep. I know I would be excited!
