| Fritz has gone to his furever home. His adoptive mommie picked him up today. Fritz took to her and her brother in law right away - giving them doggie kisses. Just as they were about to leave with him he ran through the doggie door into the back yard (even though it is pouring down with rain), he went potty and came back in as if to say "OK I'm ready to leave now". I have put some new pics in his album on my profile page. I am going to miss him, but now can take another foster. Oh - and his new mommie makes cuddle sacks and brought one for Lil Bit and Beamer and had one in the car for Fritz to cuddle in on his way home.

| Oh that sounds like a wonderful new life for Fritz. Wasn't he lucky to have such a great foster home and now a cuddly new life. This was a perfect first post of the day for me to read. Puts a smile on my face and in my heart.

| Aww, how cute that Fritz ran to go potty before he left. What a great little man! His new mommy was very sweet to bring cuddle sacks for your kids. Glad to hear that Fritz has a great furever home.

| Wonderful Sylvia! I admire you and Bruce for what you do - bless you! I'm sure Beamer & Lil Bit will miss Fritz (as will you) but it sounds like he's on a happy new path in life. Thanks for helping him along the way!

| Sylvia, I think you and your husband are very special people to foster these precious little ones and prepare them for their forever homes. Fritz sounds like a very special little guy. Loved reading how he went outside to go potty before he left with his new Mommy. It was sweet of her to make snuggle sacks for your 2 pups, plus one for Fritz. I know today has to be exciting for Fritz to be going to his new home. Also know you must be saddened a bit with his leaving. But, the bright side is you now will be able to foster another pup, preparing him/her for a new home too. |

| It is so rewarding to be able to be a part of these furbabies journey to furever homes. We get so much pleasure out of having them. We really can't afford any more puppies, Lil Bit and Beamer are what we can afford, taking into consideration vet bills etc. So it is nice to be able to foster and have these babies even for a little while. And as Lil Bit is not into playing - she thinks it is beneath her at her age LOL - so it is nice for Beamer to have some playmates. What is nice is that the same time the application came in for Fritz someone else adopted one of the other LDR furbabies that is blind. So it is really nice that there are people out there that are willing to take in "handicapped" furbabies.

When Connie (his new mommie) called and said she was bringing cuddle sacks that she made, one for Beamer and one for Lil Bit, I told her Beamer already had one he just got as a present. She said "But he can't have too many cuddle sacks" LOL Fritz is a special guy - he is blind in one eye and has problems with the other one. He was adopted a few weeks ago but they returned him when they realized he couldn't get up their hardwood stairs. (LDR hadn't thought of asking about stairs when they talked to them) Oh - and he is going to have fur siblings. Connie has 4 other rescue dogs - a German Shepherd/Lab mix that is around 14 years old, a Boston terrier that is 8 years old, a Basset (funnily enough called Fred!) that is about 14 years old and a terrier mix that is 12 years old. She has had them several years. Her brother in law that drove her over here says he visits her with his 2 dogs sometimes, so Fritz is going to have lots of companions to play with.
