| How spoiled? I am pretty sure we all spoil our YT, just wondering how much you spoil them. Minnie sleeps with us every night, we buy her lots of toys and clothes. We are so in love with her She loves car rides too. The only thing we don't spoil her with is giving her soft food, we won't because obviously she would expect it at every feeding lol. She is also allowed to give us kisses anytime. I know some people may think ewww but she is the first and only fur-child that I have ever let do this. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | All 4 dogs sleep with me, only 2 are yorkies, but there is plenty of room, and they all insist on being right up on me, so I don't get to move around at all...lol. I love my yorkie kisses...can't live without em! My hair is down to the small of my back...I need to get to a human groomer, but my babies go every couple months. I buy Suave shampoo for myself, but am buying yorkie shine for the dogs, rofl In the last two yrs, I have purchased 2 pairs of pants (for work), and one pair of shoes..also for work. In the last 2 weeks I have purchased 4 doggie sweaters & a doggie dress. I go to the grocery store when I am out of Iam's, and might purchase some groceries for myself...I usually eat at work. I visit petsmart more than my grocery store. I don't think my babies are spoiled, just loved....lol

| I <3 going to Petsmart too and spend money on Minnie like its nothing. Just went last week and got her a dog baby book and 5 outfits. Spent 60 bucks on her and donated 2 bucks for homeless animals. Some how between taking a sweater off the hanger and the washer/dryer we lost one purple sweater so now we have to buy one or more to replace the lost one lol Quote:

| This sounds so much like me. My friends and my hubby think I have lost my mind. My dogs do everything with me that they possibly can. They also sleep with me. My dogs have more clothes, hair bows, etc than I do. I also buy cheap shampoo and conditioner for our skin family, but the yorkies have top of the line, and extremely expensive. I think nothing of spending 100 at petsmart or petco, but will bargain shop until I'm blue in the face to buy only clearance items for the family. (That way I can spend more on my babies. LOL) Its crazy, but its my life!

| oh yes... my gang is spoiled!! They sleep with us, I homecook now, Remy has a lot of dresses and blankets.. and they have a toy box of toys. The most important part of spoiling is... high quality food and quality time!!! We walk twice a day and play with them. Of course lots of hugs, cuddles and puppy love kisses!!! I miss them when I am at work

| I really don't like the word spoiled. It has a negative effect for me. Because I actually know a real "spoiled" dog and he's a brat. He rules the house, runs people over and jumps on everyone (he's an 80lb boarder collie) I love him, but he is really spoiled. On the other hand we have the financially spoiled dogs like I hear about here. Well Harley is definitely well provided for. He eats canned fish as a side to his kibble every meal. I spend more time determining his nutrition than I do cooking for myself. He's been to the groomers three times since my last hair cut (so proud of myself I'm going to the hair salon today). lol Just my thoughts.. but yes Harley is definitely spoiled in the way you guys are referring to.

| Well I won't lie...I never thought I would be one of those craz about my dog people but I am LOL! They sleep with us or one of the skin kids although they have 5 beds just for them. They have as much clothes as my kids but I like to dress the dogs more than the kids. They don't complain no matter what I put on them LOL! And let's face it...I'm cheap! But me and hubby go to Petsmart and buy them stuff that they certainly don't "need." Funny part is hubby tries to be indifferent in front of "the guys" but I catch him baby talking to them ALL the time! |

| Spoiled Spoiled, what is spoiled??? I thought this was just about love, giving love and being loved in return. Did I miss the memo? Besides who could pass up that cute___________(fill in the blank) it's such a good price. TA DA. The other one I use "He's so little, he doesn't use much!" Ya right! SPOILED??? MY BABY???? Can't be. LOL well, maybe a tiny bit Only time it gets to be too much is when it begins to take over another room and then maybe you should have an intervention, but that's still a maybe

| A spoiled dog is one that exhibits behavioral problems from overindulgence by his or her parents. Well to me my little one behaves just fine...eating the best foods, sleeping in king size beds, traveling in car seats, going on pet friendly vacations, wearing nice outfits, and playing in big grassy fields does not translate to behavioral issues. In fact despite all our "overindulgence's" out little Miley still behaves just fine. She does get upset when we leave her at home but she quickly accepts that we will be back later. So no..our baby is not spoiled. |

When they go outside, they get cold...thus buy them clothes. When they get hungry, they need to eat...buy them Orijin. When they get dirty, give them a bath..buy them your favorite shampoo and conditioner. When they need a treat...buy them a bully stick. When they need to sleep, tuck them in to bed with you. When they need to get brushed, buy them a Chris Christensen brush. When they need a haircut...bring them to the salon. When we go to the grandparent's house, bring them in the car with their dedicated seat. Hey you get the point...these are all things we need to do for our dog. Nothing above indicates spoiling out dog...simply we NEED to do these things. | |
