I know I should keep his feet trimmed and do a sanitary cut and ear trim. Is that all I can do? I feel bad bc he looks quite dishevled. I know people go through somewhat the same thing when growing out their hair. That in between stage where nothing can be done to make it look like you tried to do it. Just wondering what others have done during this in between stage to help their babies still feel pampered and gorgeous. |
*sigh* I'm doing the same thing. Triming Miss Lula's leggs, butt, feet and belly... the rest I just kind of leave alone. I'm just waiting until its long enough to bring her to another groomer. I swear I'm going to make the next one sign a contract stating that she is of sound mind and will not touch the hair on her face.
When I took Lula groomed they cut the hair around her eyes saying they do that will all the dogs so they won't get infections from the hair going in their eyes. I replied "Well, I'm glad to know what I look forward to as this grows out because when I brought her in all her hair fit in the top knot and I didn't have to wory about said infections"... I should have have simply said the choice words I was thinking, being nice isnt getting me anywhere.
Good luck and I hope it grows out fast. I was using clips along with Lula's top knot. It is just now grown out enough to fit into her top knot without one but I felt like it helped keep her hair out of her face.
