| I should probably add I "use" to put in the Kong sticks. I've purchase 8 Kongs over the last few months and Gracie is such a Kong freak she's managed to bury all of them and we cannot find them. She buries everything.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I put some vanilla yogurt in there and freeze it. Or peanut butter. Sometimes I'll just break up some of his treats and put them in there.

| I use plain organic yogurt, some kibble or a treat, and peanut butter (I finally found some that has no sugar or salt). The peanut butter is only to seal up the openings. Sometimes I put some chicken baby food (no onion or garlic, only chicken and water) and pumpkin (if there is soft poo) in it. Then I stick it in the freezer |

| Zuke's Mini Naturals-they drop out and the dogs flip it all over and then scatter to get all the Zuke's up! It's hilarious! I've used pieces of chicken breast I cooked myself before though too.

| I just use the kong sticks. I have also used other treats that would "stick" in there!

| All great ideas!!!! Thank you. I think we will be making a trip to the store to get a kong. Bentley loves to chew. He will love the challenge of getting a treat out of the toy.. Thanks again... |

| Even without a treat in it Kongs are great! Mine are super masters of toy destruction and Kongs are one of the very few that hold up here...I love the mini Yorkie sized ones too!

| My boys like kibble in the Kong. It's not a treat that lasts long, but they enjoy the ritual.

| i bought my new puppy a pink swirled puppy kong & bought puppy spray inserts. I thought about buying cookies but i wasn't sure if she'd be able to chew on it. my friend tells me she puts in peanut butter with some chopped up fruits then freeze it. |

| The only thing Linus is interested in in his Kong is the Liver flavored Kong goo that comes in the "Cheez-Wiz" looking bottle. I usually throw some kibble in there too to add a little crunch. We haven't used it recently, but when Linus was a puppy, he got really stressed out when I left, so I actually put some medicine in the Liver goo to calm him down. It was the only way he'd take it! Now, it's the best way to give him his heartworm medicine too! |

| the vet gave me the idea to use peanut butter or "spray cheese" like cheez whiz....when i attempted crate training she'd have me freeze it so she'd have to work harder & longer to get it. i quickly learned that she was so worked up being alone that she wouldn't touch any treat til i got home. i once tossed her kong & the next day found a perfect circle of pb on my wall. |
