| Well they are all estimates but you triple the weight at 8 weeks double it at 12 weeks.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I don't understand how I have seen some people say their puppy was 1.7lbs at 12 weeks and then it grew to be 9-13 lbs? Is this unusual. I thought that doubling thier 12 week weight was pretty accurte? Thanks |

I am always curious about that myself. I think it's just a guess how big they will turn out and a lot depends on their bone structure. I mean if you have a 1.7lb. underweight tall pup and you get it to eat well it won't be on the same weight path as a chubby short one that weighs the same. They don't all grow the same, just like kids. It's all a guess. | |

| Chachi was 1 lb at 6 weeks and he is 9 lbs now. Jewels was 12 ounces at 8 weeks and she is 5 lbs now. Doubling the weight nor the weight charts were not accurate for me. They were supposed to be smaller by all calculations.
