I bought an octagonal playpen by Pet Gear Amazon.com: Soft-Sided Octagon Pen 36" x 36" x... I love it, they come in different sizes, Harley is tiny so he fits perfectly in the small, but he needs to have the roof on when I'm not supervising cause he can jump out of it. I love it cause it's so portable and easy to clean. You can buy them online, I'm in Canada so I'm not sure which stores you can shop at, but I know there are a lot more retailers to sell dog stuff in the US. As for recommending stores, I would recommend supporting stores that do not support puppy mills as they are generally more reliable. can't wait to see pics.

| Ooooohh I hope you get your baby tomorrow. I know how exciting that can be. How old will the baby be? I use a porta crib. It works great. When no one is home during the day and I have to take a shower or clean the house I put Bentley in there ( his bed is in there with his blanket) and he is fine and I know he is safe. Welcome to YT and Good luck on your new baby!! |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I have 3 of the same playpen the others have mentioned. There are lots of choices out there, but this works the best for me because it folds up flat when not needed AND it has a zip-on top. Believe me, you will want to be able to put the top on when your puppy learns to jump. I started out with a regular baby playpen and just a few days after I got Tallulah I had to leave her alone for an hour... when I got home she met me at the door, very proud of herself, I must add. |

| I found a small playpen, it's a cosco brand... never heard of it before. It's pink and chocolate. The little pups are 10 weeks old, 2 little girls to choose from a Duchess and and Daisy and an older brother who is 14 weeks old Flash. My heart is set on a girl right now but who knows Io might fall for Flash and need to bring back all of the pink things I bought We will be leaving at 6a.m. to travel there, but I'm so excited I doubt I'll sleep. Thanks so much to each of you for sharing and being so helpful. I'll post pictures after we get back from our puppy road trip and get the lil one settled when we get back. I hope I've puppy proofed enough... we'll find out tomorrow Warm Regards, Rose |

| Amazon.com: North States Superyard Classic XT... we got this one and love it, we have two little boys. They actually will go to it at night and scratch at the sides when they are ready to go to bed. In the day sometimes when I am working in the front room where its located they will scratch at it to be in it. Some people told me it was going to be too big to potty train them in (that they would have accidents everywhere) but I didn't find that to be the case. They use the puppy pad in there just fine.

| I have used several, and different ones worked for different needs. I used the one posted by critter... I find it is a lot less exspensive at toys r us then a pet store!! I also went to consignment store and bought -- oh like a play pen type pop n play. It was very inexpensive. The girl at the consignment store said they always keep the ones which are a little stained for people who want them for pets. It was reallly cute and I paid like $25.00 and used it when I had my girl and my daughters boy. When they out grew I did not feel bad getting ride of it. I also have a crate, at this point I don't use a crate but keep her used to it so if the need is there she will go in. In fact she does go in the crate to nap and get away from brothers from time to time. I also have a portable smaller expen that has a door and is "cute" that I can use. The larger one is now used outside. Hope that helps
