| Puppy sizes and names for them Who comes up with these ridiculous names for Yorkies of different sizes? Teacup, tiny teacup, micro tiny teacup....I've heard all of these before. Tonight I found a website that advertises their dogs that will be 2 lbs and under as "teaspoon" size. It's amazing the prices that they get for these little dogs....they feel it's okay to sell a dog that will be tiny for $9000....ridiculous! |

| That's despicable. I bet anyone breeding for Yorkies under 2 lbs is using tiny breeding females. I bet they have a high number of c-sections and other breeding/whelping problems as well as eclampsia. I also bet they have a high number of genetic problems - LP, liver shunt, hydrocephalus etc. I wonder if they actually get $9000 for a puppy or if it's just a ploy to make their dogs look more valuable? | What a tragedy--all because of ignorance or greed. Even more so that people would seek out these teeny ones. If they asked around or did any research at all, they would discover that it's not a good thing; expensive care, not as healthy, hard to keep warm and fed well, dangerous to have any surgery, not to mention scary to have afoot. Too bad there can't be come kind of campaign through SPCA or something.

| OMG that makes me want to cry! Not only are they potentially breeding very sick puppies, that is such a strain on the already TINY mommy to give birth to those babies!! And for an exorbitant profit!!! I hate greeders so much......
