| she looks like a Yorkie in that picture. Why is the top of her head green? Is she older? I have a friend who has an all silver Yorkie with the tan. She is very cute in that picture..

11 lbs is not unusual for a Yorkie to grow to. She is a light silver color on her back. In terms of "dullness" of coat, I'd look first to proper nutrition, proper bathing and shampoos.

| How sad, I think shes beautiful. I see a lot of yorkies with silver "saddle" areas, this is pretty normal. She looks like a yorkie to me, I'd lovr her no matter what she was anyways! As for dull coats nutrition is probably to blame, I'd ask a groomer or your vet- it might be dull from dying it??? |

| I have a yorkie that is silver( or pewter, light charcoal, whatever) all over, lighter silver on head and tan on his muzzle. He had the standard Yorkie colors when we picked him out at 6 weeks and by 11 weeks when we picked him up, he had a little white spot on his head. By the time he was about 5 months we had him clipped very short-underneath all that wirey black puppy hair was this beautiful little silver bullet! At 11 months old he weighs 9.5 lbs and is all muscle! Some yorkies just suprise you-even though we were told he was a "parti" and his dad is black and white with a little tan. |

| As a Mom of 2 11 pounders, I think the larger ones are great. YT has a teapot club. Bubba is silver and he is very handsome. I think your baby is adorable and she looks a lot like Bubba. What are you feeding her? and what shampoo are you using? Their hair is like ours-it's appearance is poor if nutrition is poor or if we don't use products that bring out it's shine.

| She's a "teapot" Yorkie I have a 9 almost 10 pound Yorkie here he came to me weighing over 11 pounds but have talked to others on here who have much larger Yorkies that are proven purebred...wavy hair also happens sometimes...dull coat huh she looks decent in the pic maybe she has a super conditioned cottony coat though... I used and trust this company to identify my rescue as a Schnorkie (Yorkie mini Schnauzie hybrid) my vet uses them and they are the most comprehensive for accuracy...but either or your dog is gorgeous and looks Yorkie to me. www.dog-dna.com Dull coats can often be corrected with proper nutrition and grooming! | Looking at the pictures you have a yorkie. So what the ears don't stand also they come in other colors not just the black and tan and the copper colors. If you want straight hair this means you need to bathe her regulary and blow dry along with brushing the Straight hair takes work they don't come like you see in photo shoot pictures. May I ask why is his poor little head green ?

| My daughter's yorkie is very similar in coloring. When her coat was breaking we thought she was going to be white and even questioned her breading, although she is AKC registered. She is 1 now and has gotten darker as she gotten older, but is a very light silver with a light tan face. Can't quite make out what is happening with this little one's face. Did you dye her hair for some reason? Check into proper nutrition and good shampoos and grooming habits if you are worried about the quality of the coat.
