| Sophie is going for her 1st grooming Sophie's birthday is this Wednesday I have decided to take her for her 1st grooming this Saturday so she will look her best for the occasion. I am so nervous. I hope they do my baby right. I think I've decided to have her trunk cut short (her hair is very long...almost to the floor). I just love dressing her, and I think it will make it so much easier not worrying about tangles. Her legs will be kept long/fluffy except under legs so that part doesn't tangle either. I am also going to have her beard rounded off to just a little below her chin and am FOR SURE keeping her top knot I will post before and after pictures tomorrow. I sure hope her after picture is one to be proud of

| I learned the HARD way with Furgie's first grooming! Where ever you are going, has it come recommended? Don't do what I did and take your pup somewhere without asking around first...I took her to petsmart the first time to get groomed, they clipped her eye with the clippers....I just had no idea to even think to ask around to who is good, who is not. It was a horrible experience for both of us. I was really nervous when I took her to the vet recommended place, but they were awesome and gentle and was able to have her looking beautiful with no problems. They did cover all her vet expenses related to the incident, but I had to be persistent, they didn't want to at first. Good luck!!!!!! Mindy |

| I have heard several good recommendations about them, and I've seen pictures. I haven't seen any cuts like I want, but then I don't know if anyone has ever requested it. I have my pictures in hand and will be sure to tell them what I want and what I DON'T want. Say a prayer

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Good luck! Is there any way you can stay and watch while she is being groomed? that way you can tell the groomer what you want and what you dont want. If you like the way she is groomed remember to take a picture so you can show it next time incase it is a different person grooming her!

| Oh Sophie you are getting to be a big girl! Good luck with your 1st grooming. I hope they are gentle and talented. She is such a beauty I am sure the after will look great. Will they allow you to stay. I was very lucky to find a great groomer who comes to my house. I love watching her and she gives me tips to maintain in between. I still need to learn how to clip his fur between his toes. I guess I am afraid of hurting him. I look forward to seeing you after pictures!
