| Please take him in to get checked out...it could be a couple things. Pnut just had some allergies..he had a little red ring on his neck i thought it was ringworm, but it was just alleriges.. And from giving him blue buffalo wet food!! |

| Yes, check it out. Zoe was diagnosed with ringworm about 6 weeks ago or so, and her only symptom was hair loss over her whole body, especially her torso and her legs (which were mostly bald). Not fun to get rid of, but, knock on wood, it appears to be gone at this point. Good luck.

| As everyone else has said, he needs to be seen by your vet. Make sure he has a geriatric physical with bloodwork. That should include a thyroid panel, but double check. Thyroid imbalances cause hair loss and are very common in older dogs. Lady's been on thyroid medication for many years. It's a very easy and inexpensive condition to treat. |
