YorkieTalk Newbie! | i need advice I took Bentley-man to the groomer's when i picked him up his one eye was watering i thought that it was nerves. But it was still watering late last night. He has never had watering eyes. It looks like he is crying with only one eye. What is this? How can i help my baby? |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I would take him to the vet and have it checked out. It could be something minor like irritation from soap getting in his eye, but I take anything involving the eyes or ears extra seriously. |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Is the white part of Bentley's eye red and irritated? You could try flushing the eye with sterile saline (no fancy eye drops with additives). Could be shampoo as Boopster wrote, or hair trimmings, or something else. If the eye continues to tear or produces green/yellow discharge, or if Bentley shows any discomfort, I would head to the vet ASAP.

No Longer a Member | Def with Maximo on this one, he may have a stray hair lodged in there that is causing some irritation. Try flushing the eyes out, but take him to a vet if there are any signs of discomfort. |
