| What a cutie! The first picture is so sweet. He looks like he has a little Jack Russell terrier in him.

| They have those DNA testing kits at PetSmart. I think they used to be around $100 but they're cheaper now. I'm not sure how reliable they are... has anyone else here used them? |

| I think if he had a more traditional yorkie cut, you'd never question it.

| Yorkie Russell? I have a 1 and 1/2 year old who the breeder told me was purebred yorkie but I didn't see his parents. He weighs 13 lbs. now and has floppy ears, long legs and characteristics common of jack russell terriers. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were talking about how much he resembles a jack russell with his hair short. What do you think? |

| Yorkie, but do a DNA test to be sure there's the Mars one which I hear is quite good in generational breed identification and I used this one Dog DNA Test Doggie DNA Testing and Mixed Breed Canine DNA Testing For Dogs - Dog-DNA.com

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Looks like a yorkie to me. I think it is the ears and the cut that makes him look like he has a bit of Jack Russel in him. My Poppy's ears are the same way half up half down. And her face is the same shape when she is in the bath all wet I think next time get the groomer to square his face off so he has a little beard instead of cutting it so short and he will look more yorkie.
