| My yorkie fell down... Today Tezel (my yorkie) fell down. My friend was sitting on the sofa while playing with him. Suddenly Tezel got distracted and jump off his lap. He fell and landed on the floor with a loud cry. He seems very quiet after that. No change on his eating and drinking behavior. He walk normal also, just not so active. Do you guys think he is ok? |

| I would get him to the vet as soon as possible, just to be safe. He may appear alright now, but he could have hurt something internally or even bumped his head. It's always good to be cautious with these little ones. Please come back and let us know how he's doing. Bonny

| Remy took a hard fall the other day, he was fine. He had no changes in his play or eating. If your pup is not wanting to play I would assume something is hurting. Walking and eating are a good sign though. I would get him to a vet, just to be on the safe side if you are worried. I hope he is fine!

| My boys are constant accidents... the first year I took them to the vet for every little thing... after that Ive learned to look for the signs... sometimes they are just scared or nervous for awhile after wards, they calm themselves and then after awhile they forget and are back to normal. The other night my Dexter was in his bed at one end and Fletch at the other end... Fletch snuck out of the bed (or so he thought) into our bed and that knocked the balance of the bed off and both the bed with Dexter in it tumbled to the floor. My poor little guy went FLYING out of the room down into the living room. I woke up and called him back and he came slowly with his tail between his legs. He was scared that's for sure... but he was fine. Walking fine so I brought him to bed with me and he slept and in the morning he was perfectly fine! Thank goodness!!!

However by morning you'd never know anything happened! She was completely fine! Not limping and completely back to her old self! She had us REALLY worried...we hardly slept that night! We were so glad it wasn't serious! Hopefully your little one will be ok!

| I had a toy poodle jump off the couch once, on to carpet and break a leg. I think anytime they cry out in pain it is worth an extra look- hope everything goes well at the vet!

To the OP: Hi and Welcome to YT! Young puppies are more at risk for injury in a fall, best to see a vet..
