| Help! Is my puppy a yorkie? Hey we were just looking for opinions as we are not certain our yorkie is a purebread. we did not adopt our pup from a reputable breeder so we have our doubts. we did see the mother and the other pups were all identical. Our puppy Sophie is 4months old and we were told she is a purebread yorkie. she is 7 pounds so we are having doubts. she is a fun energetic dog and she certainly jumps like a yorkie haha please check out the pictures attached and give me your opinion! thanks! |

| Welcome to YT. Sophie looks like a purebred Yorkie, but one that differs from the standard of the breed. Yorkies come in all different sizes. Weight alone doesn't mean she isn't a Yorkie. She is adorable. Enjoy your pup.

Yorkie Yakker | Mylee is 4 months old as well. She is a little smaller than yours, but they look a lot alike! Contests on your new yorkie! Is she as WILD as mine?

| Welcome. She is a cutie and looks like a yorkie to me. I looks like they did not bob her tail. Which I ouch just learned about in the breeder section. I love the photo at 4 months where she is looking up at you. Adorable. |

| She looks like a yorkie to me.. She might not meet what's called the standard yorkie, however , still a yorkie. I also brought home my first yorkie that looked a little different then some other adult yorkie's. It was from a breeder , however, she was not papered. Suzi is a darker colored yorkie though. Even so, nobody has ever told me she is "not a yorkie"

| If I were going to say one way or the other, I'd have to sway towards Cutie-Pa-Tootie for sure!

| I would say yorkie, except for the tail. It's not the length that makes me think differently, it's the way it sickles over her back. My Lucy has her full tail, and I've seen quite a few with a full tail... But I've never seen a yorkie sickle like that. Now, my Chihuahua's tail... That is completely curved! And i know a few other breeds that hold their tail this way. But regardless, your baby is an adorable puppy! I hope this helps! |

| Whether she is or isn't-she is adorable. As for weight, both of mine are healthy 11 pounders.
