| Help...looking for furbaby sitter Hello & Good Morning Been a while since I last posted here but have stayed up to date with Yorkie news but now need some help from my fellow Yorkies please. I live in Springfield Mo and I will be going into the hospital Feb 7th for a knee replacement. I have been trying to place my Yorkie (male 5years old) and my 3lb teacup chihuahua (female spayed 2 years old) with someone to care for them for approx 2-3 weeks while I am recuperating. I will be on a walker with a nurse and physical therepy coming in 3 times a week and having them under foot will be hard and don't want to risk falling. I visited with both my vet and groomer but I just don't have the 300-500 dollars to board them. My chihuahua is wee pad trained and my yorkie will go outside providing there is a fenced yard or walked on a leash. If anyone in or near Springfield thinks they might be able to help it is much appreciated. I love my furbabies and want them taken care of and thought since this forum had such knowlege and love of the Yorkie breed that this site was the place to ask. Thank You Kindly Dee |

| I found someone super and close by my home for when I travel using Craigslist. She was an older single lady and kept my Yorkie in her bathroom with a her bed, wee pad, free feed of water/food during the day while she worked. I was gone 16 days and she charged me $100.00. I, like you cannot afford hundreds of dollars a week. I just wanted to make sure she was taken care of, not locked in a tiny crate all day and always had access to her food and water. That was my main concerns. Hope this helps.

Please contact WalnutHill (YT member). She's only 65 miles from you and I'm sure she would be able to help you find someone. This is a link to her page: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/member.php?u=41655
