| UGH! It probably looks like kibble to them. Are the rabbits free to roam the house? I don't know what to do but to keep a close eye on them. It can't be good for them. Maybe you could do a search here and follow the advice for puppies who eat dog poop.

| They can carry disease, so if they are in a fenced yard area, you should clean them up.

| I don't think it would be too good eating rabbit poop. Is there any way you can keep the dog away from the rabbit's area? Is the rabbit in his own cage or does he run free? |

| Are you talking tame domestic rabbit, or wild rabbits? There are big health risks if your babes are eating wild rabbit feces, as they are more likely and do carry disease. If they are tame or domestic rabbits, have they been vaccinated? I wouldn't want my babies eating feces from other animals either so maybe you could get a portable pen and move it around, or keep them on a leash when they do thier business.

Yorkie Yakker | I have to deal with deer turds and now there is wild rabbit population explosion in our back yard. It not good for our pups who love to eat it, but there's not a whole lot you can do other than constant poop patrol. My little guy will not "go" on a leash.

| I'm sure that's difficult for you but just know that lots of wild rabbits carry tapeworm and other diseases. If you don't stop your dogs from eating the rabbit pellets they will get tapeworm and/or get sick. Can you put a rabbit fence up around your yard to keep them out? I also would check into borrowing a live trap so you can catch them and then release them back into the wild somewhere else. You can usually contact your local animal control or local conservation agent for a live trap and advice on dealing with the rabbits. Good luck, Teresa |

| What is it with Yorkies and poop eating? Mine eats my Basset Hound's poop but not his own. My vet said she had a Yorkie who ate poop also and I see a lot of talk about it on here. I try to clean up after each time my dogs go, but it would be almost impossible to keep up on all those little rabbit turds! |

| My tiny Kia got very sick from eating wild rabbit poop, so DH does "Poop Patrol" in our yard, before he takes them out, each time. There is something about rabbit poop that Yorkies love. I've had other Yorkie people tell me the same thing. They think it's a delicacy. Ugh. Sheila |
