| Hello We are here in the UP! Hello I have two wonderful yorkies..Sophie Marie and Shadow. They are ill today and we just moved in July. The temp is -20 today and I was concerned that the temperature might be too much. We did visit some new friends yesterday and they were wondering around so they may have gotten into something I welcome any advice or comments. especially if you live in the same kind of weather! Thank you and I love being here. Last edited by sony; 01-23-2011 at 03:13 PM. |

| Welcome to YT and if they keep acting strange you should take them to the vet for a check up. Good luck with the temps. I hate the cold weather. |

| Welcome, so sorry to hear your two aren't feeling well. I hope they didn't get into something to bad. I don't have any advice, but please keep a close eye on them...they go down so fast. What are their symptoms and what's their size/age?

| Sophie is 12 and about 11 pounds. She had a bit to eat and still had problems. I think I will try the burger rice and bananas that my mom always did for our poodles when they got upset tummies. They only get Blue and water..which in a while some cheese and homemade bones but nothing else. We visited a family with 6 children and a dog. I am thinking the kids could have dropped some food or although they said their dog had no food in his dish if they ate that I am sure they got sick. I am just wondering with her being that old if I just dont need to take her in. Shadow spit up after he went outside. So he isnt showing the same signs as Sophie. Of course I am going to watch him closely too. Thank you for responding to me. I appreciate it very much. |
