| Dumb Question I just purchased 3 washable pee pads through someplace that supports the rescues I forgot the name though. Well anyhow I never used them before and I'm not sure how. I'm used to disposable pads. Anybody know anything about them. Sorry for the dumb question. |

| I leave them in one area all the time. If there is poop, I just take a tissue then pick it up and flush it. If there are any tiny brown spots left, I use a stain spray cleaner so when I do wash the entire pad, the stain comes out. I don't take it up with only one or two tiny pee spots. When they don't seem to want to go on it any longer, I throw it in the wash on delicate and cold water and liquid dreft, and hang outside to dry.

| I have washed Sugar's pee pads over and over and over and over......well you get the idea I use vinegar and regular laundry soap. I am using 2 pads that belonged to my 21 year old DS (he would shoot me on site.......)

| I've had washable pads for 3 or 4 years and they still look and work as well as ever. So much less expensive than disposable pads. I put mine on the rinse and spin cycle first, then use the wash cycle. The ones I have can be bleached so I use bleach and laundry soap. Do not use a dryer sheet if you put them in the dryer. Oh, and dry them at a lower temp.

YT Addict | I don't think its a dum question at all I wondered the same thing, because I have thought about changing to those as well. I just wondered how you get them to use them in the first place, would I just put it in the regular spot and encourage him to continue to go in that spot?
