| Best camps / daycare for your yorkie... We're in GA and have used Camp Bow Wow (Alpharetta) several times. It is absolutely wonderful. The staff is really caring and knowledgeable about different breeds, and they honor your wishes regarding your dog. Ian loves it there. Also, you can watch your baby on your iphone while he's there. | That's so nice. I've read about them before and wish we had one. I love it where they say, "Where a dog can be a dog!" Kacee loves to be a dog occasionally.

| I use Fetch! Pet Care - Welcome to Fetch! Pet Care - they are a national organization and have franchises in most locations. They actually come into your home and watch your pet there- they have many different packages that you can choose from, they can even stay over at your house, or take your pet to their house. I have my sitter come 4 times per day and while she is supposed to stay for 30 minutes each time she never stays less than an hour and sometimes much much longer than that. I like that my dogs are in their own home- they don't need any vaccines that I don't normally give, she will do anything special I ask for- food, playtime, etc. no request is ignored. I don't have to take them a day early or get them a day late. When I leave for my vacation I say goodbye and as soon as I arrive home they are waiting for me. She is never too busy to talk to me when I am away and will communicate every day with me. She will text me photos of the babies and give me updates on how they are. She will call with any little question and not just guess on what I would want. Plus she has a key to my place- so in an emergency if I am out for the day and can't get home for some reason, I can call and she will go over and check in on the kiddos.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I feel so lucky to live near Yorkie Camp in Upland, CA. They have several Yorkies of their own, and at least a few other regular guests, so Tallulah always has plenty of "kids" to play with. And since they take only Yorkies I don't have to worry about Tallulah getting injured by bigger dogs. I think Tallulah's housebreaking has progressed better than it would have if I left her at home during the day because she wants to do everything the "big kids" do. Plus Janet and Steve love her and she loves them right back (but I'm happy to say she still loves me more). I think I have a much happier little dog because she goes to daycare when I go to work. I'd love to do something like this when I retire, if I'm in good enough health. Getting paid to play with Yorkies? How cool would that be?! |

| I live in ohio and use a place called Noah's canine adventure the dont have a website. I like them because they have 4 areas separated by weight and you get to pick what weight class your dog plays in. Gatsby is in the under 10 but his "class" is all 5,6,7 pound dogs thear is a 10-20 class a 20-40 class and a 50 and up class (between 40 and 50 is determined individually because i guess that area is when they stop being a medium sized dog and start being a big dog) and then they have a separate puppy class. they also have a bus that comes around and gets your pet if you need them too (I always take him myself but nice to know if i need them they will come ) It is only Monday-Friday but still I think its worth it.

| I started taking Quinn to Dogma Dog Care in Smyrna, GA last week--it is literally a mile down the street from my work. She does really well there and the trainers said that when she comes, her and the other yorkie that goes there run Pup town! I like that she gets a chance to play while I'm at work b/c she really loves other dogs. They just got webcams, but they've been having some issues with people being able to view it on their computer. I've been talking with the tech guy and hopefully that will be solved soon--I can't wait to watch her play while I'm at work! I'm sure it will be addicting! |

| I took Chase to daycare 2 weeks ago while Calvin was recovering from his neuter. He LOVED it. They have a small dog room, and a big dog room, and webcams. I was able to watch him play all day He also got "report cards" sent home, which I loved! Day Care Depot |

| When we lived in Atlanta, my girls went to Atlanta Dog Spa everyday while I was at work and my fiance was finishing up his PhD. The Best Daycare and Boarding for Your Dog! | Atlanta Dog Spa They loved it there! Unlike many of the chains, they allow the dogs to play with toys and really give them individual attention, which I really appreciate. My girls would come home exhausted every night. They separate the dogs into minis, small/medium, and large. They also have furniture for the dogs to lay on, which again, I really like since my puppymill rescue can be somewhat shy and likes to watch a lot of things before she joins in. They also have the webcams, so you can see your pup throughout the day. After Rory was spayed, they let her hang out in the front office with them since she was on limited activity. I really appreciate that the handlers here would play with the dogs and not just watch the dogs play, which is an important distinction I'm finding as I've moved and have tried out a few daycares in our new area. I almost forgot they were constantly sending me pictures of the girls and since I think they are some of the cutest little pups in the world it would always lift my spirits at work. We have been to a Camp Bow Wow up where we live now. The staff is very friendly, but it's just kind of sterile for lack of a better word. All concrete flooring, no balls or toys, (my girls love fetch), and just plastic play equipment that a lot of the smaller dogs seem to lay on out of boredom. They often come home and are raring to go almost like they just laid around all day instead of playing. Coming from Atlanta, I was not impressed my girls couldn't wear a sweatshirt or coat for daycare when it was snowing outside or in the freezing temps. On our initial consult, they told me I had to remove their top knots, and I told them I'd gladly remove the bow but they needed their topknots to SEE (haven't had a problem with that sense though). I also am uncomfortable with the size of dogs in with the "small" dogs recently, which has made me again look for another daycare in the area.
