| My New Baby Girl I finally got my beautiful little Yorkie. Her name is Sophie, and she is more than I could have ever hoped for! But tonight we have a little problem. Her little bottom is bothering her and I can't figure out why. The area is clean, and it's not red, but she can't stop nibbling at it, and even whining. Does anyone have any ideas? |

| Check with others but my guess would be either pup has worms or maybe full anal glands??? I would take your baby to vet to get a wellness check up. Congratulations on new pup and welcome to yorkie talk you will love it here.

| Congratulations on your new little bundle of love! I'm so happy for you! I don't know why she'd be having problems with her bottom. Taking her to the vet wouldn't be a bad idea!

| It's weird cause it just "started" like an hour ago, she is sleeping peacefully now, but was running around for an hour.... and I was trying to comfort her anyway I could. |

| Vet visit is necessary but it sounds like one of two things, blocked anal glands or fleas. Hope she gets better. |

| Wait to have her spayed till her adult teeth have come in, and any retained baby teeth can then be pulled at the time of her spay...probably around 7 months or so!

| Congratulations on your beautiful little girl. I agree, a visit to the vet would be a good idea. I hope she is more comfortable now.
