| How do your yorkies get along? I have a question, I have one yorkie right now and I am getting a second one in about 3 weeks or so. If you have more than one yorkie how do they get along? Porscha is a girl lol and a year old, super spoiled and so on. I am getting a little boy (oh yeah Porscha is fixed also dunno if that is needed info or not!) anyhow I know not to let them play alone and introduce them slowly. I'm just worried Porscha is gonna either hate me or be mean to the new little boy for taking some of her glory. My boyfriend and I already decided that if one of us is playing with the little boy someone need to be with Porscha playing with her also. I am going to do my best to pay as much attention to her as I do now but I know it will be hard. I really want my children hehe to love each other and be like other YTers yorkies who lay together and are best buds. Does anyone have any suggestions to make this an easy and happy transition?? Thanks so much! I included some pictures, my boy is the 2nd from the left (the left one is a girl isn't she adorable too???Well aren't they all haha) The other picture is porscha on her b-day um yeah that was her "cake" hahaha she only got a little bit I gave the rest to her older uncle rusty the lab and her uncle sam the terrior Last edited by princessandrea; 11-08-2005 at 07:08 PM. |

| When I first got Zoe, Kirby wasn't sure what was going on?? He is still a MaMa's boy and he loves her!! It is funny because he is so mello and she is crazy and is always jumping all over him and biting at his ears. He just sits there and takes it. I have to put her in time out because she gets a little rough. They are probably just playing but it looks like it hurts. When she isn't in her wild mood they just love each other!! Good Luck. It may take a few days to get adjusted but you sound like you are going to do just fine. I am sure Porscha is going to love her new little brother!! |

| I have two Yorkie girls. I got my second one about a month ago. They both get along great. The only problem is (My oldest Ruby) gets very jelous of Bella. Ruby has been trying to "punish" me for Bella being here even tho they get along great and are best of friends. Ruby is 100% potty trained yet she'll pee some times on my bed if she sees Bella sleeping with me. She has started to act out by barking and going in places she knows she's not aloud and has never wanted to go before. She's been getting into a lot of trouble lately it seems. I pay as much attention to her as i did before Bella came and I actually pay more attention now to Ruby then Bella because i was affraid of her feeling left out. It doesn't really matter what you do, the original Yorkie will feel a little jelous for awhile. I know it will go away eventually, i'm just not letting Ruby get away with any of her bad habbits she's starting. It is great tho having two because they have someone to play and get into trouble with
