| Where does your Yorkie sleep? Our 3 year old Yorkie, Charlie, has slept in his crate in the kitchen up until a few months ago. Then, when the weather got very cold we started to let him sleep on the sofa in the living room, where it is warmer. For the last few weeks, while I have been off work he has taken to coming into my and my husbands bed after his morning walk, to join me in my lie-in. I rather like him being there and am tempted to let him start sleeping in our bed. I know in my head that dogs should not sleep in our beds but my heart wants him too and my husband says he doesn't thunk Charlie likes being left on his own at night. I am just windering what where other Yorkies sleep? |

| Jackson has slept in my bed since I brought him home at 9 weeks old (I kept him in a soft crate on my actual bed for the first 5 weeks or so). But ever since, he's been right at my feet, or curled up against me. He is now over 2 years old.

Yorkie Yakker | In a teeny tiny little ball right behind me. No matter how many times I move him over he always finds his way back. Him sleeping in our bed all started with him needing to get up in the middle of the night to go outside and I could never get to him quick enough when he was sleeping in the crate. As soon as I felt him move around, outside we went. Thank goodness he sleeps all night now!

| Snoopy sleeps in "his" bed. Luckily, it's a queen-size and he lets me and DH sleep in it, too. I don't think it's a problem if dogs sleep in their human's beds, as long as all the humans are ok with it.

| I have a ceiling fan on at night when I'm sleeping and Callie gets cold even with a nightie on, on the bed and I move so much I worry about hurting her. She sleeps in a soft sided dog house about 2 feet from the side of my bed that I have put a nice thick bed in that takes up the hole bottom of the house and she likes it. When she is sick or not feeling good she does sleep in my bed with me so I can have her close. When we go out of town she will also sleep in bed with me.

| Sammy sleeps in the kitchen, aka Sammy's room. When I get up I like to take him into bed with me for a little cuddle time. I'm afraid that if he sleeps in the bed all night I will roll over on him. |

| I guess I'm outnumbered. My babies sleep in separate kennels in my room. We get up at 4:30 am with DH and then we go back to sleep on the couch. I'm a side-sleeper also, so Tia is behind my knees (if she doesn't climb on top) and Ally is in the front. Ally always has to have an opposite side of me than her sister. I don't see anything wrong with them sleeping in the bed though. |
