| Lady gets Yorkie stolen from car at mall Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, a lady left her little yorkie Monkoo, in the car when she ran into the mall on Friday and someone broke the window and stole her baby. Just wanted to remind people that to some our babies are valuable items to sell and they don't have a conscience or a heart and will steal them to resell them. Never leave your baby in your car even just to run into the store for a few minutes, this is what could happen. I am guilty of doing this too but I need the reminder that this does happen and it is much better to run home and drop the babies off and then go back to the grocery store than to chance someone stealing them. This poor girl offered her life savings of $5000 to have her little yorkie returned, she was crying unconsolably on the news report and I felt so bad for her. I hope the police can find who did it from surveillance cameras at the mall and get her baby back. Here is the link to the story and a picture of Monkoo: Hayward woman offers life savings for her dog to be returned | abc7news.com

| I hate reading this sort of thing! My heart breaks for her. I would die if anything like this would happen to me. I dont really leave mine in the car unattended though and i guess stories like this is the reason. Read to many...how sad...i will pray that she get her baby back unharmed!

| I see people doing this with dogs a lot where I live and it infurioates me I could not imagine leaving them in the car while you run into the mall!!! I hope she gets her Yorkie back too, but if they broke out the window to get it sounds like wanted her bad. Hopefully, others will learn from her lack in judgment. |

| I keep mine in a kennel in the car so you really can't see them but this lady just had the dog on the seat and anyone can look in the car and see their cute little face and then make a smash and grab. It happens even more near holidays, so people need to be aware. I've paid quite a bit for my babies and one day I was thinking, I had Bitsy, Baby and Brooke in their old snoozer car seat in the back, that was $4500 sitting in a seat, would I leave that amount of money laying out for everyone to see!! That's when I changed to a covered kennel and decided to either take them in the store with me or take them home, no other choice for me now and this story just reinforces it.

| Yep, my girls are priceless to me, so if they can't leave the car and go in with me, they just don't go. It is not worth it. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | This is why I won't even stop for gas when I have Tallulah with me. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you, I realize I'm over the top about safety but I don't think I could live with myself anything happened that I could have prevented. |

| I don't know who's worse the one who stole the Yorkie or the lady that would leave it in the car. Even if they're not visible from the outside, a person needs to remember, anyone can have a sudden heart attack or other medical emergency right in the store. You pass out, someone calls an ambulance, you awake two days later in the hospital...where's your dogs? Been left in a car in some obscure parking lot for days. It could happen.

| How awful! I saw a yorkie in a car as I was going into Walmart the other day. I would never leave my babies alone, never. Would you leave your kids in the car in a dangerous neighborhood or mall parking lot, I think not! I feel bad for her but this should be a lesson to us all. Take them home or sneak them in with you
