Donating YT 500 Club Member | Saving Gracie How one dog escaped the shadowy world of American Puppy mills I just read this book called, Saving Gracie. It is about a puppy mill bust and it follows Gracie a King Charles Cavalier who was born and used as a producer for a puppy mill for 6 years of her life. I cried just about the entire way through... It is a touching story and it makes me want to reach out and help so many little ones in need. If your interested check it out.. but be prepared to cry. Carol Bradley » Author of Saving Gracie - The true story of one dogs rescue from a Pennsylvania puppy mill. Amazon.com: Saving Gracie: How One Dog Escaped...

| I may add that to my New Year's reading. I always look forward to crying all of the way through a book. I'm sure it will be an eye-opener.

| I love King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. They had a rescue in my old town and I applied, but by the time they got back to me; I already had Lucy. My girlfriend got one that was shipped to her from Missouri - at about 6 weeks old. I'm thinking possible puppymill on that one.

| I've looked at that book, and I've read such wonderful things about it. I definitely want to read it. I read the book Amazing Gracie, which is a heartwarming story about a deaf great dane. I was attracted to it first just because of the name, since when I was given my little Gracie. she had already registered by the name Amazin' Grace. I definitely would recommend reading it, since it's very touching.

I still can't stop thinking about this book. It is very eye opening and I think if Taycie ever got a brother or sister I would definently have to look into a resue.
