| another craigslist winner. I can not believe this post: ISO of dog to add to our family I am trying to find a new dog to add to our family. We just had to recently give away our puppy because anytime we would leave her home alone (even for short periods of time) she would bark. We do live in an apartment and needless to say our neighbors were not happy with us. We do not really have any specifics concerning type or gender. All we ask is that he/she be under approx. 20 lbs and will stay that way (apt rules) and that she/he does not bark when left alone. I can promise you that he/she will go to a loving home. We would prefer one that is under 2 years of age but if the right dog comes along, any age is fine. Also, since I am a student, we only have 1 income at the moment. I do not mind paying a rehoming fee, but it would have to be small if any. If you have a dog that you think would be perfect for us please e-mail me asap. Thanks for looking! I do believe dogs bark!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Ugh. Might as well put in big bold letters- WE COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO TRAIN THE LAST DOG, SO DISPOSING OF HER WAS THE FASTEST COURSE OF ACTION. WE WON'T HESITATE TO DO IT AGAIN IF YOU SELL US A LEMON.

| I never understand this- buying dogs and then dumping them for a new one when they no longer fit your specifications. I used to belong to a general dog forum years ago and there was a girl like this on there- she always had a different dog that fit her lifestyle at that moment- and then they were conveniently "rehomed" supposedly to various family members everytime they got in her way. They should get a cute stuffed dog and just be happy with that.

| Agreed. If you don't want to put the effort in then why get a dog? This person is clearly not responsible enough to have a dog.

| newsflash: All dogs bark especially if left alone for long periods of time. Craigslist poster... Does not have much money for a rehoming fee, probably has no money to care for a dog 100% . some people are so selfish ans idiotic.

I really hate to jump in on this person just because they are a student in an apartment, or because they had to re-home a dog...it's the general show or lack of caring, understanding and ability that shows through! I was a student in an apartment with kids-WOW some breeders really stereotyped me and tried to give me the "maybe you need to wait lecture" when I decided I was ready...I see why now, they must deal with a lot of "these people"...let alone just posting an ad on craigslist..hmmmmmm telling. | Well I have to say from experience some dogs will bark no matter what my Ex-boyfriend has these two chi mutts and they would bark and bark for no reason it killed me. they wear never left alone they passed training at petsmart we tried distracting them we tried treating them when they wear quiet we tried putting them in a room with no windows we even tried a shock collar (and like a million other things im not sure they wear not my dogs so when they left a lot of the info about them did to) in the end we broke up and moved to his dads farm and they get to bark and chase chickens all day but they still bark like mad and it was not for lack of training

| They did get removed but they are up again, with this added: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't understand why I got flagged... All I am trying to do is find a dog to add to our family and to give a loving home to!! If you still think that I should be flagged please at least have the decency to e-mail me why! Regardless of what you think, we WILL give a dog a LOVING home where he/she will be HAPPY. So keep flagging and I will keep reposting until we find the dog that is right for us!!!! anyone want to let them know why being flagged? I am worried about payback since it is in the same area. here is the link: Need a sweet dog to add to our family

| With all of the advances in technology, they should come up with a little robot dog. It could save information from its day. Then after a prospective dog owner has the robot dog for a month or so, the information could be reviewed. It could show when it was fed, taken out, played with, crated. Hours could be tallied to see if balance was achieved. Experiences could be rated. For example, was the robot taken to the vet at appropriate times when it exhibited symptoms pre-programmed into it? Did the prospective owner show patience with training? There are all sorts of possibilities!! This would be such a great screening tool! Sort of like in high school when you have to carry the egg or a babydoll around with you for six weeks.
