Hi and welcome. Never lived in Japan, unless you count time spent on Okinawa a lot of years ago.

To florencelisa, i'd be happy to help you translate - send it over To mandy4, where in hachinohe did you get your yorkie? I'd much rather go on someones good experience - there is no breeder near tokyo as far as I know anyway. *sigh* I also hate the cold weather - I'm from Florida and right now, wishing I were there ...

oooh yes... lots of interesting, entertaining and even completely useless, frivolous things. haha. But extremely fun to look around. I drag my husband in the shops just to peek, and he laughs because he says it's like I'm expecting a child. I've already crocheted a (crude)doggie scarf and sweater, bought the crate, toys.... .... *eh-hem* ... just no dog yet.

There are lots of boutiques!!! I love just looking at all the neat stuff that they have. Clothes for dogs here are expensive compared to the states though. Sometimes you can catch stuff on sale, but even then, you will be paying more than in the states. I prefer going to walmart when Im in the states visiting and bringing clothes back. The do have really cool dog carriers, beds, toys, and pens though. It is like going into a baby store. | |

yeah I agree. I don't like buying from stores in Japan. I'm extremely cheap and rather proud of it. I like making my own things, or buying from ebay. (and yes, I also shop for things I need when I go home to the states)
