| Bedtime?? Hey I was wondering if everyone sets a bedtime for their babies. I have an abnormal sleeping schedule (studying for finals) and my babies usually sleeps when I sleep. I feel bad that they are having poor sleeping habits because of me. So, does anyone give their babies a bedtime or you just let them sleep whenever you sleep?

| Kaji sets his own bedtime. If it's after 9 pm he's out like a light! It doesn't matter what I'm doing either. He'll either curl up to me, or head for his bed. Unless we're out in a new place, he doesn't fall asleep as quickly.

| Levi pretty much sets his own sleep schedule. He conks out around 10pm every night, regardless of what I am doing. If I am awake and studying at my desk, he sleeps on a blanket by my feet. If I am watching TV in the living room, he sleeps by my side. If I am in my room, he jumps up on my bed and goes to bed. If we are up/out late, I don't usually feel too bad - he sleeps while I am in class or at work, and if he's tired he takes plenty of daytime naps to make up for it!

| Mine are pretty much "go with the flow" dogs- they will stay up with me or might fall asleep near me if I am laying on the couch or in my bed- but they never complain- and they are happy to stay in bed late on a lay morning too |

| My boys nap from 8 pm until whatever time I go to bed, usually before midnight. We spend time together before we all go to sleep for the night. |

| My two are pretty go with the flow kinda dogs too... They sleep wherever I am, whether it's on the couch, at my desk or in bed. I don't worry too much about them getting enough sleep because they sleep all day

| I have definitely come to the right place. Things I have worried about are addressed here. Since I am retired, I have a habit of staying up late reading or watching a movie. CaptainJack is always at my side, many times sleeping. The problem is this. As soon as I turn the light off to go to sleep, he wakes up ready to play for a good hour. If I try to ignore him, he whimpers. Should I just give in and try not reading or watching my movie till I get sleepy. Any ideas? |

| Kacee has always set her own bedtime since she was a puppy. She usually goes to bed around 8:30 to 9:00.

| I think I already posted about this in another thread buy my two go to their sleeping crates and stare at it, bark at me, go back and stare at the crate, around 8:30 every night. Now, mind you they can get in and out of the crate as during they day they often go hide one of their chew toys from the other one in their crate (crate door is open during day), so why they don't just get into the crates and go to sleep is funny. But yeah, they're spoiled and I give them "one on one" time every night before putting them in their crates so I guess they've got that routine down and like it. I don't know about everyone else, but my Yorkies keep my laughing every day with their antics and intelligence. I'm amazed every day. Kendra |

YT 500 Club Member | Mine sleeps most of the day while we are at work. But since my hubby has been getting up at about 4:45 or 5:00 a.m., she and the cat think that is the time to get up every morning, whether we do or not. She will also sleep near us throughout the evening but has a crazy habit of playing with her toys around 9:30. She also knows that it is time to go to bed when the news comes on. Then she also knows she needs to go out to potty. Funny how they know the schedule. She also knows when it is treat time.

| I've never set a bedtime for Fancy - she is my constant shadow so she won't go to bed until I go. If she wants to go to sleep she just gets in my lap wherever or whatever I'm doing and goes sleep like that until I get up and get in the bed.

| Sandy has his own bedtime. Usually he'll fall asleep around 9pm. When I go to bed, I'll bring him with me around 11pm because he's sleeping with us on the bed He continues to sleep until the next morning at 8am. |

| Mine usually want to go to bed around 9:30-10:00. They will stand and stare at me if I don't go by 10:00. They all have their own spot's for sleeping.
