| Bad Haircut!!! Hey everyone! This is my first time posting anything but I had an awful haircut experience today and I'm in seach for help lol. My little yorkie girl is 7 mo old and I have been growing out her hair for a topknot. I took her to the groomers today and they had me write down on a notecard what exactly I wanted done. I said I only wanted them to trim around her eyes (I'm afraid I'll poke her if I do it) and her bum. When I picked her up they had cut off all her hair! Her body hair isn't so bad, but the hair on her head is shorter than the length of my pinky finger nail! Does anyone know about how long it will take to grow out??? I'm so sad, all her black puppy hair around her face is gone I know I'm probably over reacting, but I was so proud of her little mini pony tail I could get in hair lol. Any suggestions would be great!!! Kali |

| i am soooooooo sorry, but this seems to be a trend with groomers, many people have had the same problems...... i do toby's hair myself, but i keep him in a 'puppy cut', so it is easier to keep up..... do you have a before picture and an after picture??? if i were you i wouldnt have paid them, if you wrote "trim around eyes and bum" that usually implies VERY LITTLE cutting, and if they cut the body hair that is just plain WRONG, you should file a complaint with the manager of teh grooming salon you went too and see if you can get your money back, because that just plain sucks........... |

| I would have trouble paying if the groomer didnt follow my instructions........short hair all over with a bum and face only instruction! Anyways no worry it will grow but.............I absolutely guarantee you if doesnt look as bad as my males haircut I gave him about 5 months ago.............OMG!! A groomer IM not!! He is adorable and I made him look like choppy haired rat! It was the worse you have ever seen! Hes handsome again with a nice flowing coat starting to come back 5 months later. |

| It is amazing how many of us have experienced the "bad haircut" from our groomers. Luckily it does grow back. Sometimes slow other times fast, depending on your own Yorkie. I am still trying to get Schatzie's hair around her face grown out from a bad cut many many months ago. But day by day we are getting there.
