| Hair long enough for bows? how old was your baby before he or she had grown their hair out long enough to wear bows? i keep fighting the urge to buy bows because i figure it will be awhile after i pick up lil' Lexi before she will have hair long enough to wear bows. on that note, 9 days to go before i get to go and pick my lil' Lexi up!

| My Jewels was like 3 months old when I was able to put her first bow in but I started with dog grooming bows I got on Ebay because they are small and not heavy

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | It will be a while before you can put bows in, maybe 3 months. Grooming bows are usually satin and one layer, they are lighter weight. I have a couple of customers who like the pom-pom bows aka Pretty Puff Bows, in my store for puppies, if you look on my facebook there is a picture of a puppy wearing a Christmas one posted last night. Congratulations, I know I killed the time waiting for Baxter to be old enough to come home by shopping, he had anything and everything he needed when he got here I know the waiting is excruciating! |

| As soon as her hair is long enough, start with just rubber/grooming bands (supervised, not too tight, don't want to see the whites of her eyes!!!lol) after she gets used to those after a week or two, start adding light weight bows, eventually graduating to the (heavier) tiaras!. My two wouldn't know what to do without (at the very least) a band in their hair. I don't let them wear bows unless they're with me - if they come loose they'll chew on them and possibly choke. Yorkies just have to have bows! (IMO) Kendra |

| The grooming bows are the ones the groomer uses. Yes they are alot lighter and smaller than regular bows. Like I said you can get them on ebay and they come in a lot of 50 or 100 or so
