| new here - first post Hi, I've lurked for awhile but haven't posted yet. My son has 2 yorkies which make me a Yorkie grandmother... they are my only grandchildren so far. Sienna is a 17 mo old female and Tanner is a 7 month old male. They are pretty much opposites in personality and very typical male/female. Tanner is so laid back and nearly clueless at times. He wasn't a jumper until he came to us 2 months ago, but he is very influenced by Sienna who is almost aerodynamic she jumps so much. He is a klutz and has some spectacular wipe-outs at times, but it doesn't stop him. Sienna is a typical "jealous at times" female who was there first and is sometimes VERY jealous if Daddy is paying too much attention to Tanner. She will attack him by trying to mouth the back of his head behind his ear. Tanner mostly just shakes her off or ignores her. He will have had enough sometimes, however, and will give it back to her. They seem to enjoy tussling... and it have no overtones of attack in it. It helps that he is a little bigger at just over 5 lbs to her 4 lbs. I think they both love the company with each other and have developed into a wonderful pair. I've included this picture because my son was trying to take their picture one day when they WOULD NOT co-operate. Leave it to a man to think up a different solution. It worked. Just wanted to say hi to you all.. Sandra |

| Oh, gosh! I laughed out loud when I saw that picture. It's so funny, but they are just adorable. I'll bet you have lots of fun times with your grand doggies.

| Thank you for the warm welcome. Yes my "grandchildren" are adorable and I have the best of all worlds. My son has the expense and the responsibility and his dad and I get the fun. We get to babysit lots as my son works 12 hr shifts at a Sugar Company. We get the two dogs when he is on some of his long day shifts. They are total entertainment and so special. I could die laughing some days they are so funny. It has been fun lurking at all the chit chat here. I've learned lots already. I just thought the picture was too cute not to share. Sandra |
