| Dog Pimples? Can dogs get pimples? What about ingrown hairs?

| Thanks for the prompt response. Now that explains what Kaji had on his back.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Wow, Thor goes for weeks without a bath (I only bathe him if he starts to smell), and he has never produced enough grease to get a zit. If anything, his coat gets too dry. Does that differ from yorkie to yorkie?

| I'm not sure Yorkies specifically get pimples as other breeds, if people here have seen them then obviously they do but in general some breeds are predisposed to pimples (more so black heads) such as Chinese Crested and rarely miniature schnauzers among many others. |

| Same here. Kaji's head will look a little greasy. He looks better a day after a bath when his hair settles down. You're a groomer right? How often have you seen this? I think I'll call the vet tomorrow. Kaji scratched at it and I want to make sure he doesn't get it infected.

| Wow, I'm jealous... Both of mine need weekly baths to keep them from looking scraggly and greasy. I wish I could go longer, but they just start to stink and not look very good after about 5-7 days.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Well, he's in a long puppy cut, so he sort of looks scruffy all the time. I brush his teeth and his face every night, so maybe that helps.
